Crown Magnetar Announce New Album “The Hollowing Of Godflesh”, Debut New Track “Godkiller”

Colorado deathcore outfit Crown Magnetar will release their upcoming third full-length, “The Hollowing Of Godflesh”, on September 25th via Unique Leader Records. To announce the new record, the band released their newest single “Godkiller” alongside a live music video, directed by Heath Thompson, which you can check out below:
Vocalist Dan Tucker commented, “‘Godkiller’ is all gas. It’s basically the equivalent of driving a bulldozer into Hell. Still very Crown Magnetar, but focused through a death metal intensity and a great tone-setting track to introduce our new record.”
Regarding the new album, Tucker added, “‘The Hollowing Of Godflesh’ is the most complete representation of Crown Magnetar we’ve ever put together. We pushed every aspect of our songwriting further without losing the intensity and rawness that defines the band. We wanted to take what people expect from us and push it further by adding more atmosphere, bigger moments, and even more aggression without sacrificing anything. You'll hear it in the insane riffing of new guitarist Rob Maramonte, who has spent time as a member of Fallujah and The Zenith Passage, as well as performed live with Thy Art Is Murder and All Shall Perish.

The band recently wrapped up a tour with Archspire, Undeath, and Mutilation Barbecue, and their stop in Tampa was impressively brutal. Crown Magnetar seems to be at the top of their game and catching a wave of the OG deathcore revival right as the band hits their peak, which should make for an absolutely perfect storm come September when “The Hollowing Of Godflesh” releases.

Fans can catch Crown Magnetar this fall on “The Sawed Off Suffering Tour” with To The Grave and Face Yourself, along with support from I Declare War, Ameonna, Tracheotomy, Backbiter, and Squelching on select dates. After that, the band will pack their bags to complete the European leg of Archspire's headlining tour, along with tourmates The Zenith Passage and Analepsy.
