To commemorate the 25th anniversary of two of the most recognizable albums in hard rock, Drowning Pool and Saliva are teaming up for a special co-headlining tour in October, celebrating the releases of Sinner and Every Six Seconds.
From October 8 through October 25, the tour will unite two bands who’s albums dominated the radio waves in 2001 with tracks like “Bodies” and “Click Click Boom”. If you asked me what the early 2000’s sounded like, these two songs would at the top of the playlist!
Founding Drowning Pool guitarist C.J. Pierce says:
“We are beyond grateful and thankful to still be here rockin out with everyone after 25 Years of Letting the Bodies Hit the Floor! Looking forward to sharing the stage on tour again with our friends in Saliva performing the 25th Anniversary of two amazing albums! A very sincere thank you to all of the amazing friends and family who have supported us throughout this Rock & Roll Roller coaster ride that we’ve all had together! Come share this once in a lifetime experience of celebrating 25 years of Sinner with us!”
Bobby Amaru, vocalist of Saliva since 2011, commented:
“I joined Saliva in 2011, when it had already been out for a decade, but that’s exactly what makes this anniversary so special. Great music has a life far beyond the people who create it. It belongs to the fans who have kept these songs alive for 25 years. Getting to celebrate this anniversary alongside Drowning Pool and two of the defining rock records from 2001 is something I don’t take for granted. I know Wayne Swinny and Dave Williams would be proud to see these songs still bringing people together all these years later."
This tour will also feature some limited edition 25th anniversary merch, alongside a very limited run 25th Anniversary vinyl pressing of Drowning Pool’s “Sinner”. These are the final copies remaining from the bands personal reserve after the initial pressing sold out online, so this will be your last chance to grab this before it’s gone.
While the tour focuses and celebrates the past, Saliva is also looking toward the future with their next studio album. “Breaking Through”, set to release on August 14, gives fans the chance to hear some new tracks as well as longtime favorites. Fans can expect both sets to feature songs that span the past 25 years of their careers.
Both bands will be performing select headlining dates and festivals in the leadup to their co-headlining tour in October. Joint VIP experiences featuring both bands will be available for fans looking to celebrate the milestone in a big way. Tickets are on sale now!
