Goodbye June Rock Through New England at Worcester’s Off The Rails
Passion and energy were in Massachusetts last week as Nashville based band Goodbye June came through Worcester on their Trouble For All tour. With this stop at Off The Rails, the band returned to Worcester for the first time in seven years, this time as the headliners.
DANNY WORSNOP
To get the night started, Danny Worsnop, lead singer of Asking Alexandria, opened with a set of, self described, sad songs. The country blues style is certainly different than the metalcore and hard rock styles of his group projects, but he captured and engaged the crowd with ease.
GOODBYE JUNE
The three piece band was joined by members of Badflower on bass and drums, filling out the sound. Despite the small crowd, the energy was still high as the band played songs from across their discography, and the crowd was engaged. Much to one fans chagrin though, Landon Milbourn didn’t want to name the town the band was in, out of fear of disappointing the crowd. Tour bassist, Joey Morrow, wasn’t as afraid though, giving his best Worcester to the room.
