Sumerian Records-signed band I See Stars announced their 2026 U.S. headlining tour titled Spin The Wheel Tour. The title is a play on words of their latest album THE WHEEL. The tour will run from February 26 to April 4 of April, covering both coasts and the Midwest. Tickets went on sale October 10 with 3-tiered VIP upgrades ranging from $29.99 to $149.99, per ticket.
THE WHEEL was released September 12 this year, and the reviews…mixed. The record is a total of 14 tracks and features singles the band released in 2023, ’24, and ’25, such as “are we 3ven?”, “Anomaly”, “Drift”, & “SPLIT.”
On September 12, the band released their music video for “carry on for you”, the same time the album dropped, which made fans eager to listen to the full-length album; however, it didn’t give fans that Treehouse vibe they craved.
One Redditor said, “It has now been a little over 3 weeks since THE WHEEL dropped. I gave it a listen front to back when it dropped and wasn't overly impressed. This is now the 4th album they've released since I became a fan. I felt that if I called this band my favorite, it was only fair to give it another chance, so I did….”
However, another redditor also posted the same day that “It’s honestly one of the saddest albums I’ve ever listened to (but still impressive). I never expect much from bands once they have a killer album like Treehouse, so I’m pleasantly surprised that they were able to come back with so many catchy songs again. I don’t think they’ll ever go back to what they were, but I didn’t get into them until Treehouse, so I’m very okay with that. However, I feel like a lot of people are expecting them to go back to that old style, but it would be odd to go back to something that isn’t popular or relevant anymore. Bands evolve, and this is what they’ve evolved into. With all the shitty music out there, I can’t understand why anyone is so disappointed in this album. It’s better than most.”
Many fans have noted that the songs featured in THE WHEEL are the ones not released as singles, which makes the wait even more worthwhile. The majority cite “Flood Light” or “Curtain Call” as their favorites.

The last I See Stars album was released nearly ten years ago, which gave the band enough time to find new tastes and sounds they connected with. Over the past couple of years, the band has released singles sporadically. Those songs appeared on THE WHEEL but did not define the entirety of the album.
After the release of Treehouse, the band’s hit album, I See Stars started to work on a new album, but COVID interrupted their process, and the band scrapped the album. They decided they wanted an album that matched their artistic vision and could live up to their expectations.
“It gave us the opportunity to take a step back and really dive into what we wanted to actually dig in and write,” said Jeff (bass). “Not that what was done before was bad, but this gave the four of us an opportunity to sit in a room with each other and just write.”
THE WHEEL is deemed a living memory of the band’s eras and places the listener with the band during those times. Devin (vocals) stated, “It’s really kind of a special piece, and you feel that in the journey when you’re listening to the album front to back. You feel us swimming in the mystery of what life was doing and where it was taking us.”
The album was produced by David Bendeth and mixed by Zakk Cervini and Tom Norris. Those who worked on the album have said the album took a life of its own.
