Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival returns to Ohio State Reformatory, July 17 - 19

If you are rock and metal festival-goer, there is one weekend you want circled on your calendar: July 17-19, 2026. After a record-breaking 90,000+ fans last year, the Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival returns to the historic Ohio State Reformatory, boasting a line up of over 65 bands!

Rock and metal fans descending on Mansfield, Ohio, can choose from over 100+ tattoo artists at Monster Energy Tattoo X, the onsite tattoo convention hosted inside the world-famous prison — yeah, that’s the one from Shawshank Redemption!

Fans can also take self-guided tours of the haunted prison with the award-winning Blood Prison experience. This is the event’s eighth year and event organizers — Danny Wimmer Presents and Reinkcarceration LLC — are already planning improved upgrades across festival grounds, including the camping and parking experience.

This festival has earned its reputation as one of the most unique and sought-after events in the world, blending music, tattoo artistry, and culture in a setting unlike any other.
— Dan Smith, Associate Director, The Ohio State Reformatory

In addition to the daily headlines — Disturbed (Friday), Bad Omens (Saturday), Limp Bizkit (Sunday), the event will also celebrate some special appearances and reunions, including:

  • Sleeping with Sirens celebrating 15 Years of Let's Cheers To This

  • A rare reunion by Rev Theory

  • Alien Ant Farm celebrating 25th anniversary of ANThology

  • Additional reunions from Get Scared and The Crimson Armada

  • Hometown/home state shows from Starset, Sanguisugabogg, Night Rider, Miss May I, Wolves At The Gate and ENMY

Don’t wait too long to decide! Inkcarceration passes have SOLD OUT the past five years, with fans from every state and many countries around the world! Tickets and upgrades for Inkcarceration 2026 can be purchased HERE!
