Knocked Loose dropped their first new music since their critically acclaimed 2024 album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, which included the Grammy-nominated single “Suffocate”, featuring Poppy.

For their latest song “Hive Mind”, Knocked Loose enlisted the help of Denzel Curry, bringing together a rare collaboration between one of the biggest stars in the contemporary heavy scene and one of the hottest names in rap.  Accompanying the song, is a music video directed by Eric Richter and Knocked Loose vocalist Bryan Garris, and filmed at David Armstrong Extreme Park, in the band’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

You can stream the “Hive Mind” video right here:

This collaboration has been a long time coming, with Garris stating, “This is something we've talked about doing for a long time. We wondered if we could pull it off and who would be down. In the very beginning, we said for it to work, it would have to be Denzel Curry. Because he gets it."

Denzel Curry is no stranger to the rock genre though, as he has been outspoken about being a student of hardcore and metal music, as well as releasing a widely celebrated cover of Rage Against the Machine’s “Bulls on Parade” in 2019.

This latest single is just the start of a busy year for Knocked Loose, with the band performing at Sick New World Fest in both Las Vegas, NV on April 25th and Dallas, TX on October 24th.  In between these two festival appearances, Knocked Loose is set to open for Metallica and Bring Me The Horizon at select dates across Europe this summer!
