This Is Lorelei, Nate Amos’s eclectic solo project, just released “Oh No Now My,” the second track from the upcoming album The Singer in My Band, which comes out September 11 on Matador Records. The song is paired with a folklore-inspired stop-motion video by Julia Fernandez. “Oh No Now My” is the second release from the 11-track LP, following the lead single “Billy Came Back”.

The past few years have been transformative for Nate Amos. He released breakout records and toured widely, both solo and with his experimental pop band Water From Your Eyes. He wrote the new album while traveling with both bands, making it a true road record.

Amos says, “The ideas incubated while daydreaming in the car without access to any instruments,” he recalls, “so instead of being home and writing on the guitar or a computer, they developed slowly and subconsciously, existing as a sort of intangible thing while looking out the van window.”

Amos also shares, “‘Oh No Now My’ is a song that ate itself - there were 3 versions of it before it landed here, where it has nothing in common with the original. I think it’s good,, but it’s hard to sing. I hope you like it.”

This Is Lorelei will tour internationally to support The Singer In My Band, with shows alongside Bleachers, Colin Miller, and @ ("At").
