We Came As Romans sets the tone with “Bad Luck” on seventh album
On August 22nd, 2025, We Came As Romans released their highly anticipated seventh studio album titled All Is Beautiful…Because We’re Doomed via Sharptone Records. The album features 12 tracks that are focused on select philosophical themes such as death, inner reflection, and rebirth. The album loops as the end sounds like the beginning and the beginning sounds like the end, allowing the band to focus on an ouroboros structured style.

The first track on the album, “Bad Luck” was released as a single on April 17, 2025 and focuses on the band's setbacks and difficult times. It features a very strong, open chorus and eerie vocals while maintaining heavy and powerful riffs.
The fans are eating this album up and are in agreement about the strength of this album and that it holds water. One Reddit user claimed the album features “no-skip-worthy songs” and is “full of heavy breakdowns and catchy choruses.”
RØKKR’s Soundcheck
All Is Beautiful…Because We’re Doomed mixes metalcore tones, heavy breakdowns, philosophically-styled lyrics leaning into the band’s iconic sound, and the band’s personal and collective struggle while growing.
During the band’s “Bad Luck” tour, they performed an unreleased track called “One By One,” which featured rich and emotionally charged lyrics regarding the band’s grief and recovery. Lead vocalist Dave Stephen taught the crowd the lyrics before playing the song, “I’m still trying to fnd a reason, trying to fix the damage I’ve done.”
We Came as Romans released Darkbloom in 2022 —their first album without Kyle Pavone — Stephen has taken over full vocals since then. Darkbloom focused more on grief and healing, which set the stage for this self-healing themed album in 2025.
