Wilt Sets the Stage for Jutes at Sold-Out Paradise Rock Club
Sunday night in Boston, Paradise Rock Club was sold out, and people were there early. Groups of friends, families, and the solo concertgoers wrapped around the block before doors opened. They were excited for Jutes, but many were also there for Wilt, the four piece L.A. band getting the night started.

Playing songs from across their catalogue, including old favorites, singles from their upcoming album including “bundy” and “dent,” and a cover of t.A.T.u’s “All The Things She Said,” they made good use of their time. When a guitar string broke mid set, they took it in stride with an impromptu cover and crowd chatting session while changing the string.
This set showed that they are ready to be the main act, keep an eye out for them next time they come through your city, and keep an ear out for their new album when no one’s watching, out October 2.
JUTES
Jutes took the energy in the room and turned it up a notch. Bringing the whole spectrum of emotion to the evening, he took over the set with passion.
Focusing the set mostly on his new album Chin Up, Beautiful, Jutes started the set with intensity. Keeping that energy high for several songs before bringing it back down. Unsure if he’d be able to get through “Take Care of Her” without crying, Jutes discussed the tribute to his late grandmother before he began, and while he might have made it through without tears, there were certainly tears in the room.
Remembering both the good and the bad, Jutes made the evening feel like a trip down memory lane.
