Beck taps back into the emotion that won us over on Sea Change with his latest album, Ride Lonesome. Alongside the title track single, he’s shared a live performance of the song with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
After his run through more pop-leaning territory, Beck has started revisiting key milestones of his career to set up a new chapter. “Ride Lonesome (Live with Sydney Symphony Orchestra)” stands out from the first note, with Nicholas Buc conducting an orchestra that sounds like it came from another world.
With this orchestral backing, Beck’s musical universe comes full circle, tying together the wide range of sounds his music has covered over the years.
Beck has been a standard-bearer for alternative music for more than 30 years, and his return comes with a North American tour. He’ll also be the special guest on the Mexico City, São Paulo and Buenos Aires dates of U2’s The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour in 2027. HERE is a full list of upcoming dates!
