Bryce Vine taps into pop-punk roots on new single: Yea, Yea, Yea
Bryce Vine may not be the first artist on your mind when you think pop-punk hits, but when the artist took the stage at Van’s Warped Tour in Long Beach back in July, he debuted an explosive new era in his music. While Vine is no stranger to the alternative scene, with his music often infused with punk and restless rock energy, “Yea, Yea, Yea” is his most unapologetically pop-punk song to date, out now via Big Noise.
Recorded by prolific producer John Feldmann (Blink-182, The Used, Avril Lavigne), “Yea, Yea, Yea” explodes with crashing guitars, driving rhythms, and a hook you want to shout along with at full volume. Vine’s punk influences, combined with Feldmann’s work with Blink-182, creates a high octane anthem that feels like it is straight out of the California pop punk scene in the early 2000s. Feldmann stated the new single “was one of the first songs we wrote together, and it has the energy of the Ramones but Bryce’s unique twist on lyrics… He truly made it his own.”
