Coheed and Cambria launches inaugural Neverender Festival and Neverender Rocks this Fall

Coheed and Cambria are hitting the road this spring with Shinedown and refuse to rest on their laurels for the remainder of the year, as they announced today that this fall they’ll be playing two different special events: the two-day Neverender Festival at The Observatory Festival Grounds and the one-day Neverender Rocks at the Red Rocks Amphitheater.

The band has long used the “Neverender” moniker for special events, cruises, and tours. In 2010, the band performed their first four albums over 4 nights and have since toured under the name, on cruises, and now their own festival.

Neverender Festival takes place on October 3-4 in Santa Ana, California, at the Observatory Festival Grounds, where they’ll be playing what I think is maybe their most underappreciated release, The Afterman double album. Maybe more impressive than playing both albums in full is the lineup they were able to amass for the festival: Sunny Day Real Estate, Turnover, Pup, Thursday, La Dispute, Hail The Sun, among many more, and that’s not even including bringing co-headliners Circa Survive back from the dead.

On top of Neverender Festival, Coheed will be bringing Neverender Rocks to the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado, on September 29, where the band will also be performing The Afterman with guests Turnover and The Home Team. Both shows are on sale now.
