Final FEST 24 Lineup Announced, Over 200 Bands Across 3 Days
FEST 24 isn’t until October, but the final lineup has been announced for the 3-day, multi-venue festival that takes over Gainesville, Florida every year. FEST has been a Florida DIY punk staple for over 20 years, with over 3,000 applications to join in on the fun this year, some lucky enough to get an invite to the festival!
Take even just a passing glance at the festival's lineup this year, and you’ll see some absolute heavyweights at the top of the bill, with some even playing multiple sets throughout the weekend.
The Bouncing Souls, Pup, Lagwagon, Bears vs. Shark, A Wilhelm Scream, Against All Authority: these are big names, fan favorites, and longtime FEST alumni headlining the weekend, playing alongside local Florida favorites like Wolf-Face and FEST Freshman like Kitty Kitty Meow Meow.
This festival is an amazing experience to go to if you’re not only looking forward to seeing longtime punk staples, but also discovering all the fresh new faces that make up the scene — including recent RØKKR Spotlight, Spare Kid, making their U.S. festival debut! We told you these guys were ready to spread their wings and come to this side of the pond!
FEST 24 officially starts early on Thursday, October 22 with their annual Kick Off Show at Bo Diddley Plaza and and will then spread to 16 different venues in downtown Gainesville during the weekend. All venues will be within walking distance, with Bo Diddley Plaza serving as the main stage. Heartwood, Vivid Music Hall, The Atlantic, Loosey’s, Palomino, and a host of other smaller venues will play host to live music, comedy, and wrestling events throughout the weekend. The full schedule will be announced on July 17, along with access to single-show tickets.
The next ticket price increase is July 1 and 3-day passes are still available, although they are more than 70% sold, so quit waiting around and start calling babysitters and booking your hotel stay!
