Nonpoint has been performing a new single while on The Outta Control Tour and on May 8th, fans will be able to get the chance to listen to “Is It” on their streaming platform of choice.

This will be the first release from their upcoming album, The Last Word, which the band plans to release on 361 Degrees Records later this summer.

Fans can listen to the song early on the band's YouTube channel, in the form of an animated lyric video, below:

Vocalist Elias Soriano says of the new album, “In a world that sometimes wants to put a timestamp on creativity, The Last Word is our way of saying we’re just getting started. We’re pushing back against expectation and pushing forward into our own next chapter.”

Soriano goes on to speak about the new single and the concepts behind the lyrics: “‘Is It’ is that internal conflict where you question getting too involved? Did I push too hard? Did I ask too much? It’s that feeling of wondering if doing what you thought was right actually meant hurting the people around you.”

The new song went over extremely well at their Tampa date, and I expect longtime fans of the band who have been hungry for a new full-length will only find themselves restlessly awaiting the full album’s release later this year.

If you’re fiending for even more new material, I suggest you catch Nonpoint with special guests SOiL and Sumo Cyco as they continue their run through the U.S. on The Outta Control Tour over the next month.
