Fresh off a standout set at Kilby Block Party, Show Me The Body released a new single, “Eat For Peace.” This is the third single released from their upcoming album Alone Together, out July 10 via Loma Vista Recordings.
“‘Eat For Peace’ is the first song on Alone Together. It’s the first message we communicate, one that defines this record as well as who we are: ‘Radical love compels me to fight.’ It’s the credo.”
This fourth studio album is described as “not about atmosphere, but about direct communication, a call to galvanize ourselves and the people around us” and is the follow-up to the band’s celebrated 2022 album Trouble The Water. The 13-track album promises to cut out any bullshit or filler, and deliver a sound and messages of resistance and resilience that only Show Me the Body can create.

While making the album, Pratt launched a series of conversations. In this series, he speaks with a few of his “best friends, creative peers, and mentors about life, loss, family, community, art, and praxis.”
The series “Alone Together” was directed by Nicolas Heller. It is available on the Show Me The Body’ YouTube channel HERE.
Along with the release of “Eat For Peace,” the band announced they will take their much-hyped live performance to 22 cities across the U.S., as well as one stop in Canada. The tour starts in Boston this September, giving fans a few months to get into top mosh-pit shape to hold their own in a Show Me the Body crowd. The tour will conclude mid-October with the tour finale in their hometown New York City!
