Orange County punk legends Social Distortion are back with Born to Kill, their first studio album in 15 years. The band’s eighth studio album arrives May 8 via Epitaph Records.

Social Distortion drops in, opening the title track with a driving, defiant riff that erases any trace of the 15-year wait. Across 11 tracks, the band delivers its signature blend of working-class grit, rockabilly swagger, and emotional honesty that has defined Social Distortion for more than 40 years.

The release marks a new chapter in the band’s enduring legacy and the first album since frontman Mike Ness emerged from his fight with cancer, a perspective that runs through the record’s aggressive yet hopeful tone.
