Tigercub is a British alt-rock trio comprised of Jamie Stephen Hall on vocals and lead guitar, Jimi Wheelwright on bass, and James Allix on drums. Yes — they’re all named James. Formed in Brighton, UK in 2011, the band made their long-awaited return to the United States this past Wednesday night at Gramercy Theatre for their only U.S. show following the release of their fourth studio album, Nets to Catch the Wind, via Loosegroove Records.
