As The Maine gets ready to release their 10th studio album, Joy Next Door, on April 10, they have been revealing parts of the new project. Their latest single “Palms” was released a few weeks ago joining singles “Die to Fall” and “Quiet Part Loud.”

“Palms” is an energetic track that aims to balance out the themes of the album. Written and quickly recorded at home, it didn’t find its final form until several months after, with lead singer John O'Callaghan saying, “It may have been a function of thinking too much, but I’m glad we clawed our way through to get it to where you hear it now.”

As the band gets ready for the album release, they have started their first US headline tour in nearly two years. The 26-date tour will be their biggest to date, taking them across the US and Canada over its month and a half long duration. Check them out if they’re stopping by a city near you!
