PRESIDENT announces campaign, releases new single Destroy Me

PRESIDENT, the multi-million-streaming artist who has captivated audiences with their anonymity and disruptive rise to prominence, has just dropped a new single, “Destroy Me.”

Already a staple at live shows, the track comes from their forthcoming debut album King of Terrors, arriving September 26th. The EP title, drawn from a biblical reference, sets the tone for an exploration of darkness, crises of faith, and the ultimate force that defines existence: death.

Following the release of King of Terrors, PRESIDENT will take to the road with The Campaign Trail — their first U.K. headline tour, alongside a series of U.S. rallies. This run represents a pivotal moment for the artist, rallying citizens to unite beneath a banner of sound and resistance. Each performance won’t just be a concert — it will be a declaration.

RØKKR Review’s of “Destroy Me”

After many streams of PRESIDENT’s new single, I tend to keep coming back to the song just like I did with “Rage.”

“Destroy Me” brings a very punk-ish vibe, allowing the listener to delve deeper into the song's meaning and become attached to the story the band is telling with this EP.

The song begins with a cinematic opening, then quickly transitions to heavy drums, only to turn into a hip-hop-inspired opening verse and a catchy chorus. Shortly after the chorus, we hear PRESIDENT say, “Get me out of this hell,” with harsh vocals reminiscent of 90s era Slipknot tones.

“Destroy Me” is the latest single released ahead from the Sept. 26 release of King of Terrors

As the listener, the message of this song radiates within you. For the two minutes and forty-two seconds the song runs, you focus deeply on the lyrics, which guide you on a journey that just makes you feel invested in the story.

The ending of the song comes abruptly, making you want more, but it just stops. The way the song leaves you feeling is left without answers, which I believe is PRESIDENT artistically telling us their feelings during the time of writing this song.

Altogether, I think this EP is strong and will definitely hold its weight over time. The mix is of quality, and the songs almost become intoxicating, making you want more and more.

RØKKR RATING: 4.5 / 5.0
